In conjunction with, and in certain circumstances instead of, the below, where we are required to do so due to jurisdictional requirements, we will process your personal data based on consent.

7. DISCLOSING, SHARING AND TRANSFERRING PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use third-party service providers in connection with providing our services to you. We have contracts in place with all third-party service providers we use that strictly govern how they use the personal information we disclose to them.
We may also share information about you with our affiliates where we think you may have an interest in their products and services. You hereby consent that we may share such information around our Group, and you hereby consent that any such information may be used and/or shared by companies in our Group to promote their products and services and undertake direct marketing. .
Where we transfer your personal information to third parties or to any affiliate of the Company (a member of the “Group”) outside of the jurisdiction you are in, we shall do so only where there are adequate provisions to ensure your privacy. Where the jurisdiction is not considered adequate by the relevant authorities, we put in place alternative contractual measures including standard contractual clauses approved under the relevant laws.

We do not make use of automated decision-making or profiling.
8. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
We may send you marketing communications by email, telephone, text message or post.
You can ask us to only send you marketing communications by particular methods (for example, you may be happy to receive emails from us but not telephone calls) about specific subjects or you may ask us not to send you any marketing communications at all.
We will ask you to indicate your marketing preferences when you first register an account on Our Sites, which you can change by emailing info@worldlogisticspassport.com.
9. DATA RETENTION
We will hold information about you in our data systems only for as long as we need to hold it which generally is as follows:
- We will retain and process information about you for as long as you continue to use or express an interest in our services, log into Our Sites or use our interactive services. If you have not used or expressed an interest in our services, logged into Our Sites or used our interactive services for more than two years, we will delete your information shortly thereafter.
- We will hold information about how you interact with our electronic communications for 6 months in order to help us analyse the performance of our digital marketing activities or customers and prospects.
We will only keep your information for a longer period where necessary in order to comply with our legal obligations. Please note that we may anonymise your personal information or use it for statistical purposes. We keep anonymised and statistical data indefinitely, but we take care to ensure that such data can no longer identify or be connected to any individual.
10. YOUR RIGHTS

- Right of access and data portability: You have the right of access to information we hold about or concerning you and you also have the right to information on how your data is being used. You have the right to request that we provide you with such information in a machine-readable format and you have the right to have it transferred to another data controller in some circumstances. - Right of rectification or erasure: If you feel that any data that we hold about you is inaccurate you have the right to ask us to correct or rectify it. You also have a right to ask us to erase information about you. Your right of rectification and erasure extends to anyone we have disclosed your personal information to and we will take all reasonable steps to inform those with whom we have shared your data about your request for erasure.
- Right to restriction of processing: You have a right to request that we refrain from processing your data where you contest its accuracy, the processing is unlawful and you have opposed its erasure, where we do not need to hold your data anymore but you need us to in order to establish, exercise or defend any legal claims, or we are in dispute about the legality of our processing your personal information.

- Right of complaint: If you are unhappy with the way we have used or are handling your personal information you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority for data protection issues in the country where you usually live, work or where the relevant issue arose. - Right to object to automated decision-making: You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning yourself or similarly significantly affects yourself.
11. DATA SECURITY
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents and contractors who have a business need to know (who will only process your personal information on our instructions and are subject to a duty of confidentiality) and other third parties as detailed in ‘Disclosing, Sharing and Transferring Personal Information’ above.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal information breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
Please remember that you are responsible for keeping your passwords secure. If we have given you (or you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of Our Sites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. Please do not to share your passwords with anyone.
Unfortunately, sending information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of personal information sent to Our Sites; you send us personal information at your own risk.
